In this Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) case, the debt collector, a national debt collection firm, called this debtor, a soldier in the Armed Services for the United States, and spoke to the soldier and his superior officer about the alleged delinquent debt. Debt collectors know how sensitive soldiers are about their credit since bad credit can affect security cleanance as well as their longevity in the Armed Services.
