Ford is telling owners of the newly redesigned Ford Escapes to not drive the vehicles until dealers can fix fuel lines. They can crack, spilling gasoline which causes engine fires. Ford is responding quickly to this problem, they do not want the headache Toyota had with their slow response to acceleration problems.
