Two debt collectors were banned from the Debt Collection industry by the Federal Trade Commission for alledgedly using abusive and deceptive practices in collecting debts. The defendants harassed and abused cutomers. They threatened them with physical harm, death to their pets, threatening to desecrate the bodies of deceased relatives, and by using profane and obscene language.
